About Grey Feather Creations
Grey Feather Creations came about from a need to create and relax. At the moment, I work full-time away from home during the day. In the evening, I have always had a craft or project to relax and use the 'other side' of my brain. I have stitched hundreds of thousands of cross stitches in my life and I decided jewelry would be a very rewarding way to create little pieces of art.
People often ask how I came up with the name of Grey Feather Creations. No, I don't make Native American jewelry, or use feathers in my designs. Grey Feather comes from two grey cockatiels that share their space with me. I also have two dogs, both poodles. The newest addition is Lily, a 2 year old standard poodle.
I love nature and incorporate it often in my designs. I would describe my style as classic, but sometimes I venture into other areas of the jewelry scene.
I have two wonderful children, both married now, and 3 beautiful granddaughters. I've been married over 37 years to a very understanding man who doesn't mind if the house isn't spotless as I have so many other 'very important' things to do!
Life's too short to sweat the small things and I totally embrace the opportunity to explore new ideas and find something enriching and enjoyable to do. Hence, I make jewelry. I love it and I hope I can continue to do so for a long, long time.
