Natural Brass
Many of my pieces feature components of natural brass. I buy most of the components for the Vintaj Natural Brass Company of Galena, Illinois. All of their products are made in the United States and designed by a group of highly talented people. The natural brass offers a vintage, earthy look the the jewelry.
Sterling Silver
Sterling silver is a great medium to work with. At the moment, I work with sterling beads and string most of the pieces. In the future, I am planning to offer a more intricate form of wire work with sterling wire. I offer a lovely birthstone bracelet, necklace and earring set in sterling, using Swarovski crystals as the birthstone. Please contact me if you are interested.
I am now working with sterling wire, copper wire and brass wire. This seems to be the medium I want to work with. It is very time consuming and difficult to learn, but you can see on my bracelets page, the hard work is paying off. There are some unique pieces listed and many more to come!
 
 
Wire                             
     Wire is the basis for most of my creations. I love to bend, twist, hammer and oxidize wire. I use copper, sterling silver, brass and bronze dead-soft round wire. Many people have asked if I buy my wire components and the answer is a definite NO.  The sheer joy of making a piece of jewelry is making the wire components, otherwise,  anyone could duplicate what I make.  This process insures a one of a kind, heirloom piece. I know exactly how it was made and the quality of materials are the highest.
