Copper and Turquoise Inlay Necklace

This is a lovely necklace which features solid copper and genuine turquoise chip inlay. It was fun to make. The copper back plate is also etched on the back, giving it interest on both sides. The necklace is comprised of genuine turquoise round beads and Greek ceramic beads. I have had the ceramic beads for quite some time and now they are ready to compliment this great necklace.

The necklace measures 19″ long. The swirl clasp is hand-forged of solid copper. The beads are strung on very strong 49 strand steel wire which has been coated in clear vinyl. Please do not get this piece wet, like swimming or bathing with it. The stringing material will hold up, but moisture tends to accumulate inside the beads which will eventually make a mess of the wire and beads.
