Fern Plume Malachite Pendant

This is a luscious stone! Most malachite is banded in various hues of green. This one, however, features a fern plume making it very unique. I decided to surround the stone with a copper bezel. The bezel was then soldered on to a solid sterling silver back plate which was hand textured and oxidized. I added 6 fine silver balls and a heavy wire frame. On the back, I added a hand-formed spiral of copper and a simple sterling silver tube bail.
The pendant hangs from a sterling silver woven cable neck wire with a friction clasp. The clasp is virtually invisible. The neck wire is approximately 16″ long. It has been oxidized. I can brighten up the wire to some extent if you desire.
