Brass Tree Necklace

This is a great, unique necklace! The pendant is comprised of roll printed brass with a great tree graphic in teal. I roll printed the brass and cut the opening. The graphic is protected with acetate. On the back of the pendant I have stamped ‘A poem lovely as a tree’ from Joyce Kilmer’s poem. The brass was riveted together to hold the graphic in place. At the top of the pendant is flame-painted brass wire. This is so fun to make and I never know what colors will come out when the brass wire is heated, but this wire really created some beautiful colors. The wire is randomly wound around high quality black leather cord. The ends are finished with gold-toned findings and a hand-forged brass clasp.

The necklace measures approximately 19″ long. The pendant is 2″ by 1″. I love trees and if you do too, this necklace is for you!
