Copper, Brass, and Turquoise Earrings

These earrings have a copper disc base with brass chain dangles. At the end of half of the chains are small round turquoise beads. The other half of the chains have Greek ceramic tubes. The ear wires are dark brown niobium. Niobium is a non-reactive metal which makes them safe to wear and should not cause an allergic reaction.  The copper discs were slightly domed and textured. They have also been sealed with jewelry lacquer to protect the patina.

The earrings are approximately 3 1/2″ long from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the beads. The chain is threaded through holes in the discs and the position of the beads can be varied to suit the wearer.
